Atugonza Peter
Founder, Kabalega Technologies
Peter is a self-taught web developer who built his first website in 2014. What began as a skill he taught himself grew into Kabalega Technologies, which he founded in 2022 in Hoima City.
Today he leads the company in building business software for pharmacies, property managers, clinics and lenders, alongside custom systems and websites for Ugandan organisations. In 2025 Kabalega Technologies was selected for the Tony Elumelu Entrepreneurship Programme.
Our approach is to build software that is practical and fits the way Ugandan businesses actually work.
Our story
Our founder is a self-taught web developer who built his first website in 2014. The company was founded in 2022, and since then we have grown from websites into business systems and SaaS platforms.
